Love, I am afraid I am letting the house go! |
Its that season again and the Village weavers (Spotted-backed weavers) are busy building their nests and attracting mates. Its a well known tale that the female destroys the nest if she doesn't like it but today I watched and then photographed this male cutting the last thread and sending a nest to the ground. He did have a newer looking one right next door so perhaps this one spoilt his ladyship's view of the safari lodge fountain!
