My first Scops believe it or not!!

I thought i would share with you the very first photo of an African scops Owl that i have ever taken. In fact the very first the very first Scops i have ever seen!!!!! I have heard them in trees above me a million times but never spotted one until i flushed one seemingly from a log whilst tracking lions today. It flew up into a Combretum tree and would have been lost to me yet again if it hadn't been seen by a Flycatcher and he pointed it out to me with his mobbing!
