Some of you may remember my post about a Heron on the back of a Hippo in Hwange....well here is yet another bird following the craze!

This time a it was a Common Sandpiper Actitis hypoleucos I watched land on and then feed off of a large adult hippo. It is not a behaviour that I have seen before and was quite amusing because the next hippo along had an Oxpecker on it doing the same thing!
