This morning I was just leaving home at Hwange Safari Lodge when I stopped at the hotel to fill my tyres with air. I could hardly believe my eyes and must have pulled of the mother of all "double takes" as another pair of Common Mynas sauntered past me on the lawn of the hotel!
This is the second such sighting of a the Common Myna in Hwange. I saw a pair in Hwange in December of 2011 which bred and now these ones look like they were either serving a nest or at least investigating possible nest sights.
